If I understand it correctly, that's the same kind of "data" that got the PMV listed as 'threatened' under the ESA. Right? What Information Do We Consider in the Review?
In our 5-year review, we consider all new information available at
the time of the review. In conducting these reviews, we consider the
best scientific and commercial data that has become available since the
current listing determination or the most recent status review

Kind of...except at the time it was listed there was basically no scientific data available aside from one not very well done study (the one that only looked at areas near the highway.)Woodglue wrote:From that link:If I understand it correctly, that's the same kind of "data" that got the PMV listed as 'threatened' under the ESA. Since then there has been a lot of study done on the PMV and not just by Dr. Phillips - and it's all very helpful for us. There's also been more commercial data due to the research behind the recent critical habitat finding.
So this basically means that finally all of the research and studies will be taken into account in the review of the plant and that's a GOOD thing for us.
