'02 Sand Sports Super Show- Friday, Sept 20th

Post by Flo Haynes » Sun Jul 14, 2002 4:35 pm

Volunteers are needed for the 2002 Sand Sports Super Show (SSSS).

Friday night the ASA will need 10 volunteers per 2 hour shift.

Please post here and I will add your name to the shift you choose. Some volunteers will be working the gates (handing out ASA information), working the merchandise booth or working the membership booth. Very easy and fun work. The 2 hours will fly by. Kids are welcome to volunteer too. Bring the entire family.

Please pencil me in for the 6-8 shift.

Do we have the gate entry counts from last year?
If they are broken hourly, we should make sure we have extra people during peak hours.

I have a few of our group that will be around during Saturday..time to round them up!

Don't know if the counts were exactly broken "hourly," but each year has had a larger attendence than year before.
1st year--8,000
2nd year-- double that
3rd year-- 25,000!

We would be happy to volunteer at the show on saturday. the 11 to 1 spot would be good for us. so far from our gang there are three confirmed, the names are Jason Guthrie, George Reiss and Kim Acevedo. should we just meet at the booth or is there some other place you would like us to meet?

Thanks for the 3 people. Great. Everyone needs to report to the ASA trailer which will be behind the stage. Once there we will get your name tag and get you to the right person who can direct you to your job for that time slot.

Thanks everyone.
