Supporting Membership

Post by LoBuck » Tue Jul 20, 2004 11:40 pm

Dick Holiday, where are you?

As you can see from my signature block my ASA Supporting Membership expires in about 24.5 hours. I want to make sure, especially now, that I renew my Supporting Membership.

I went to "My Membership" on the ASA Home Page to renew and found that there was not a "renew" option. What do I need to do?

Washroad, you may want to listen up here. You're due in about 12 days.

Nevermind Dick. I got it, and I'm renewed.

It doesn't have a renew function so if you're already a Supporting Member just do it again as a Supporting Member.

If you're not a Supporting Member, you can be come one by going to the ASA Home Page and sign up.

We've got a fight ahead of us.

It wasn't my card, I got the number from some guy in Nigeria that lost his entire family except his sister in a bloody massacre after embezzling millions of US dollars. 8)

BTW - once you renew, put it in your signature as a reminder. If you miss it, I'll remind you like I did Washroad.

FYI... if you signed up at the Sand Sports Super Show for your supporting membership THANK YOU... :P I'm still inputting these forms... But you should have your new membership cards in the mail by the end of the month.

We had 142 members sign up... 8)

A new membership application was created this year using the past years revisions and WOW,,, was this one real successful in getting the WHOLE family signed up... :D

See it at: ASA_signup08-04.doc
http://www.americansandassociation.org/ ... Documents/

So of those 142 supporting memberships we gained 320 members!!! General memberships were over 1000 too this year. :P

It was really awesome to keep hearing at the register,,, another supporting membership please... \:D/

We also signed up 16 new business sponsors at the show...

Thanks everyone who helped at the SSSS. We could always use some help to input these new members if you interested please contact Dick Holliday. dickholliday@charter.net

Sorry Doc, I was a few days late this time.

I did just renew my Supporting Membership. It was easy. I just followed the instructions I posted above last year.

...and changed the date I renewed in my signature line to keep me reminded.

Is there any way to check on why it says I've only been a member for a short time? I actually signed up at the one of the first SSSS.

I know it really doesn't matter, but was just wondering. I got a renewal notice after the last server crash and things have been strange ever since.

Just wondering
