What's the season like in Utah for being too cold? Is May too Early? Is October too late?

I went the 3rd week of October a few years back. Almost got snowed in! You gotta remember that the Coral Pinks are at 6000 foot elevation and weather can change abruptly.

Mid-May to mid-Oct is ballpark. We got snowed on last year and I believe it was over memorial wknd. Keep an eye on the weather forcast for Kanab and go from there.

We went their for jul 4th last summer and it was pretty hot. We rode early/late and did the normal tourist stuff during the hottest hours.
