Post by Woodglue » Mon Sep 15, 2008 9:52 am

5600 027.JPG
Craftsman 5600 Watt AC Generator
8600 Starting Watts
Powered by a Briggs & Stratton 10.0 HP OHV Engine.

5600 025.JPG
Has dust covers and a access light on outlet panel.
5600 020.JPG
Has 4 120 V Outlets, and 1 120/240 V Outlet [shown here with dustcover removed]. Automatic Circuit Breaker doubles as a manual electricity cut-off switch.
5600 021.JPG
Digital control panel indiactes % of load being used, as well as diagnostic information for oil check, oil change, air-filter check, and spark-plug check.
5600 022.JPG
5600 023.JPG
On/Off Fuel Valve, Pull Start & Manual Choke. Always starts on the 1st or 2nd pull and runs great!
5600 024.JPG
5600 029.JPG
Included is a 25' long, 20amp adapter cord. One end plugs into two of the 120V Outlets, and the other end has four female plugs.
5600 028.JPG
This is a very well maintained generator. Air Cleaner has been either cleaned or replaced every 5~10 hours of operation, and the Oil has been changed every 30 hours of operation with Fully Synthetic Mobil 1 - 5W-30.
5600 030.JPG
The units overall dimensions are:
26 1/4" Tall
23 1/2" Wide (incl wheels)
25 1/2" tall.

I have the original Operator's Manual & Receipt. I purchased this new in Jan2006 for $900.00 and used it for 2 seasons while camping in the desert. It only ran in the back of my truck... never while sitting in the dirt. There are 100~150 hours on the engine.

First $500.00 takes it!
With a proven $25 ASA Supporting Membership, I'll take the price down to $400.00.

His camp has hooked up some sort of Gilligins Island rig to the camp racers. 2 kids +2 50cc quads + candy =10,000 watts an hour.

The ASA used this Generator last Dec. Ran smooth and steady for 12 hours , right behind the trailer. Ya we could hear it but we talked over it without yelling. Good buy for somebody.

I came across a deal I couldn't refuse in Quartzsite, Az last January.
A 2400Watt Yahama Geni for $900.00. So, this one has just been sitting in my garage for 9 months now.
I cleaned it up yesterday, cleaned the air-filter, changed the oil and stuff like that.

It has just the pull-cord. To my knowledge, the only starter is the guy pulling on the cord.

Funny you ask, as I was in Escondido today for work.
But the fact is that I don't come down on a regular basis.
If you can't come up to Elsinore, we can meet up in Fallbrook or at Glamis.
How does this work for you?

THen I realized it you are sneaky and changed it [-X

I might still make you an offer though...even though I'm poor and barely surviving above the poverty line.
