Excellent Job Bob!

Here's the coordinates for The Bowl (aka Super Bowl) by Buttercup. I just posted them in another thread.

That is very cool Bob. Would hate to see it fall off the page on the bbs. This should be added to the GOL site somewhere.

Thanks GUYS! I receive several e-mails from New, and Old GPS users asking me if there's an Updated GPS List on the web. Searching the web, and what I have, the list has grown.

OK I killed (well sort of, It turns on and gets it posit but a little battery fell out and it looks like a chip came undone on the circuit board ) my old E-trex yellow, took a spill on my 50 out at Ocotillo. Well I just purchased a new Etrex Legend. The quandary I am in is that the old Etrex will not download all of my waypoints to my waypoint+ program( it keeps on giving errors in the waypoint+ program). Back when I first got a gps someone had all the Glamis waypoints listed in a file that you could download into your GPS, does anyone still have that file? I do think it was a Waypoint+ file.
Thanks
Paleale

Here's a link to all of Bob's points (as of a year or two ago) for Glamis and all of my points for Glamis at LostOutdoors:

http://www.lostoutdoors.com/wayrecv.php?id=1309060691

If you're using IE then you can download straight into your Garmin GPS from that link.

A lot of the points are very close but slightly off depending on where I marked something Vs. where Bob Marked it.

(Whoops, just realized I had linked to the display page instead of the download page. Sorry about that. This new link should make it MUCH easier to load the GPS points into your own GPS.)

Since this comes up so often, and this thread seems to have the best answers I made it a sticky. Hope that's going to be helpfull to people.

Also, Bob. I'm wondering if you have all of your GPS points in something like a .geo or .xml or some other vendor neutral well supported format. If so it would be great to have a single file download available to get all of your points into a GPS at once - or to organize them into sets if you don't want all of them.

Jason, Bob emailed me the file you are talking about. I will email it to you if you want and with Bob's permission maybe you could host it. Let me know. It is a .loc file (TopoGrafix Data File)

Just got a new Legend. Anyone (read Jason) know if when the last time the link page was updated? Is there more current info somewhere else. I'm just starting to play with the whole GPS thing so you could say I'm a vergin of sorts.

LOWRANCE ISDRA FILES

Post by sandhead » Mon Sep 04, 2006 12:56 pm

I have a fairly comprehensive waypoint file on the ISDRA area for the Lowrance Baja Globalmap gps (*.usr file). I also have a geocache file with about 40 ISDRA caches in the same file format.

e-mail me if you want a copy.

Title your e-mail as "LOWRANCE ISDRA FILES" so I don't mistake it for as spam.
