ORBA Supershow: Help Needed!

Post by BHenry »

The ORBA Supershow is being held at the Barona Casino, near San Diego, March 24th and 25th. The ASA will be there, and we need volunteers to help man the booth! Please reply to myself or Alyshka to let us know when you can help!

Two weekends in a row may not make the Mrs. too happy, but I might be able to help out one day out of the two. I will run it by her and let you know.

Ok, so we talked about it and I have come to the realization that I am an idiot! I am moving that weekend ](*,) Im sure that between her and I we could attract a few. Her with her looks and me with my idiotic nature. But instead, I get to move into my new house! Fun fun fun!!!

Great job with the booth guys! Sorry I gave you a hard time about the sand rail tickets I bought. I just hate filling out the same info over and over again. All you need is my name and phone #.

Anyhow, it was nice to buy the winning ticket at the show. 8)

ORBA did a great job with the show. Great attendance and cool businesses showing off their stuff! I'm sure next year will be even bigger.

More pictures from the show

It was cool working the booth on Saturday. The turn out was MUCH better than I was expecting and I heard the same thing from many other people. We sold quite a few raffle tickets, signed up lots of new members, and continually wiped drool off the DeJong Monster Manx. Boy is that thing sweet. Definitely one of my favorite cars for sure.

Was it me or was the show basically about Rhinos?

Yeah, there were a few quads, some rails and a jeep or two, but everywhere I looked, it was Rhinos.

:edit: just looked at the picts, and saw the two, um, hams. Good stuff! :D

Um, the ham shot got removed. The image is still on
the server, they just took the image off the web page.

It was down in "Other Stuff" at the bottom of this page:

I totally understand. I didn't post instructions here because I wasn't sure if you wanted to, but I figured Sloppy was *cough*old enough*cough* to view them respectfully.
