Saw a YFZ450R in person the other day..............

Sexy, low seat height, wide stance, looked good, real good. What impressed me visually the most the was the frame at the front end where the arms and steering gear mount. Usually the forward areas of quad frames are busy with tubes, tabs, and other bracketry, not so on this bike. The frame appears to be cast aluminum at that area, with bosses machined in to it to allow attaching of the arms, it's obvious that Yamaha wanted to reduce the amount of material it takes to provide mounting of the arms. The front shocks look bigger, as in larger diameter, but I don't have proof. As I walked away, I strode past a TRX450R, looked like it was 10 years older than the new YFZ, seriously.
