It's the "CR" gasket and I can't remember what year to buy as I've never done it. You can also run the 3-wheeler gasket; it's also a bit thinner than the quad gasket but thicker than the CR.

The difference between an 86 and 87-89 piston..... the wrist pin is 5mm lower on the 86. You will need a spacer plate on the bottom of the cylinder, I don't think you can stack up enough base gaskets to do the job. When I had the very same problem with the stock carb on my wife's quad, I replaced the needle valve and the problem DID NOT go away. Turned out the needle valve seat itself had a small scar on it and allowed fuel to get past it. The seat is part of the actual carb body and cannot be removed/replaced...
