Wow...you revived a 2 year old thread...!!! If you take proper care of the roof (I didn't) it should easily last 10-12 years or more, probably longer. I didn't take pictures, and my wife got on my case about it...!!! It wasn't really that difficult, but my construction background and plenty of tools...

The original roofs poor condition was my fault...I just didn't pay attention to maintenance until it was way too late.

It doesn't leak. The heavy rains in the last few weeks have given it a thorough test!!!

My rubber roof was completely shot...actually missing in a few spots, the underlayment (plywood) was delaminated in several places along the edges, skylight covers and vent covers were cracked... So I decided that I could do this with the help from a few buddies...geezers, actually! No one under 65 ...

GW. your interpretation of my solution is on the money...!!! You would have to sawcut the existing curb, allowing for the slope from the top of the curb sloping down to the level of the entry at the street...usually 1-1/2" above the gutter flow line. Just match the other side...!!!
